a) Dissemination of Information:
The Committee disseminates information on sexual harassment at the workplace through the production, distribution and circulation of printed materials, posters and hand-outs.
b) Awareness Workshops:
The Committee conducts effective training programs about sexual harassment for faculty, non-teaching staff and students. The aim is to develop nonthreatening and non-intimidating atmosphere of mutual learning.
c) Counselling:
The Committee offers counselling services. It is a well-known fact that sexual harassment cases are rarely reported for obvious reasons. For most it is a very sensitive and embarrassing issue. Confidential counselling service is thus important as it provides a safe space to speak about the incident and how it has affected them.
